R = Right •L = Left • RFF = Right Foot Forward • LFF = Left Foot Forward
RFB = Right Foot Back • LFB = Left Foot Back • R/L = right over left • L/R = left over right
Empi Kata
- Bow and cross off.
- Bring knees together; perform a two-handed groin kick block w/ reinforced palm.
Turn hands inside out and up to open an attackers collar grab.
- LFF, LH grabs the nape of the neck and RH elbow smash to face.
LH at obi. RH extended out at a 45-degree angle, look over your
right shoulder and elbow the rear attacker’s solar plexus.
RH elbow smash to front attacker’s face. RH extended straight up,
downward elbow smash to front attackers back. RH extended across
body to left, elbow smash to right side attacker’s solar plexus.
RH pull elbow down to cover your ribs, back fist to right side attacker’s groin.
- RFF, RH grabs the nape of the neck and LH elbow smash to face.RH at obi.
LH extended out at a 45-degree angle, look over your left shoulder and
elbow the rear attacker’s solar plexus. LH elbow smash to front attacker’s
face. LH extended straight up, downward elbow smash to front attackers back.
LH extended across body to right, elbow smash to left side attacker’s solar plexus.
LH pull elbow down to cover your ribs, back fist to left side attacker’s groin.
- RFB, RH grabs the nape of the neck (wide grab) and LH elbow smash to temple.
RH at obi. LH extended out at a 45-degree angle, look over your left shoulder
and elbow the rear attacker’s solar plexus. LH elbow smash to front attacker’s
face. LH extended straight up, downward elbow smash to front attackers back.
LH extended across body to right, elbow smash to left side attacker’s solar plexus.
LH pull elbow down to cover your ribs, back fist to left side attacker’s groin.
- LFB, LH grabs the nape of the neck and RH elbow smash to temple. LH at obi.
